ቴሌ-Checkout (TeleCommerce Bot) is an in-chat social commerce storefront and automated settlement engine built as a Telegram Mini App, specifically addressing Ethiopia’s widespread "screenshot fraud" and manual order chaos in social media selling. It replaces the messy routine of negotiating prices and manually verifying bank transfer receipts in direct messages by giving merchants a lightweight, native web store embedded directly inside their Telegram channels. Buyers browse an interactive product catalog and complete checkout using local payment gateways—including Telebirr and CBE Birr while an automated verification system tracks unique transaction reference codes to confirm real payment settlement, update inventory, and notify delivery handlers without requiring any human intervention.
