EthioLoad AI is an AI-powered freight and logistics platform designed to make transportation more efficient by connecting available trucks with nearby freight opportunities. The system uses intelligent matching to recommend suitable loads based on location, destination, truck capacity, cargo type, and route compatibility.
A key feature is empty-trip reduction: when a truck is approaching its destination, EthioLoad AI can identify potential return loads nearby, helping drivers reduce unnecessary empty journeys, fuel costs, and lost revenue. The platform also provides shipment tracking, ETA estimation, route information, and AI-powered recommendations to help logistics operators make better decisions.
The demo presents the complete journey from finding and matching freight → accepting a shipment → tracking the truck → finding a return load, demonstrating how AI can improve freight utilization and logistics efficiency in Ethiopia.
