Nuru — Adaptive Learning for Every Child
Nuru is an AI-powered learning companion designed initially for children with autism. Instead of giving every child the same lesson, Nuru adapts the learning experience based on how each child responds and learns.
For example, a child may see a simple picture and be asked, “How does this person feel?” The child can answer by voice or by tapping an option. Nuru understands the response, tracks the child’s progress, and adjusts the next activity. If the child is struggling, Nuru can provide an easier activity, a visual hint, or more practice. If the child is doing well, it can gradually introduce more challenging activities.
Our first focus is social-emotional learning, especially helping children recognize and understand emotions.
Nuru uses AI, voice interaction through Voxide, and research-informed learning through Scholarxiv to create a more personalized and accessible learning experience.
Don’t adapt the child to the lesson. Adapt the lesson to the child.
Nuru is designed as an educational support tool, not a diagnostic or medical system. Our long-term vision is to expand into communication, basic education, daily-life skills, and personalized learning across different languages and learning needs.
