We’re building an Android overlay for checking claims in short/long videos against research, without leaving the app you’re watching.

The idea started after a debate with friends continued through shared reels in our group chat. The claims piled up faster than we could check them, so we wanted a way to cross-reference them with research while watching.

The goal is to analyze a whole video from one activation, identify its factual claims and compare them with multiple sources through Scholarxiv.

A companion app would let users revisit their fact-checks and explore the claims in more detail.
