The Problem
Historically, 4 Kilo was one of the central places in Addis Ababa where job seekers gathered around newsstands and bulletin boards to find employment opportunities.
Today, job discovery has moved online, but the problem of fragmentation remains.
In Ethiopia, opportunities are distributed across:
- multiple Telegram channels
- Company career pages
- Public job boards
- NGO and organizational portals
- Other public online sources
The same vacancy often appears dozens of times simultaneously, while important details get buried inside chaotic posts, redirected through intermediary bots, or drowned in spam and promotional noise.
For job seekers, finding the right opportunity is often harder than finding a job post.
Our Solution
AratKilo is a personalized job intelligence platform that aggregates job opportunities from multiple public sources, cleans and structures them, eliminates duplicate broadcast storms, extracts direct application information, and matches opportunities to individual job seekers.
